Energy-spewing Crystal-driven Magic Necklace

Listen closely and hear it hum. It's a mashup of Pink Floyd, The Cure, and Starland Vocal Band.

 

From sterling silver, I sculpted the swooshy sides of the triangle, and soldered them together with a torch. I added a ring in the center to hold the 29.70ct round amethyst. I cut silver Rods of Power of varying lengths and added them within the curves to facilitate the spewing of energy from the amethyst crystal. Tiny balls were also added to the tips to regulate the flow. The six prongs were soldered around the center ring to grasp the force of the amethyst. Rounds of filing and buffing made the setting smooth and shiny, the amethyst was set, and the pendant was polished. stone details: 29.70ct round facet amethyst LxWxH: 20.2mm x 20.2mm x 13mm clarity: IF luster: excellent treatment: unheated hardness: 7 origin: Brazil The tag on the chain is stamped with a serial #, my maker’s mark, and a sterling silver hallmark.
